Only 13km from Atlacomulco on the state highway 5 we reach the Trinidad Fabela Dam, where you can hire a boat which takes you to the Isla de las Aves ( Island of Birds ), a place considered as an ecological refuge since it is inhabited by a number of different bird species and it is located in Timilpan.
