San Miguel de Allende City
Location: Eastern part of Guanajuato
San Miguel de Allende is located one hour away from Guanajuato; it is undoubtedly one of the Colonial jewels founded in the 16th Century and a National Monument. Nostalgia and distinction can be breathed on the atmosphere. Thanks to the efforts of the inhabitants of this city, is preserved the Viceroyalty colonial architecture of its buildings, as well as its cobblestone streets. Leon City
Location: western part of Guanajuato
The city of León officially named León de los Aldamas is an industrious city. Also known as the The Shoe Capital in this country, it features large factories that not only produce shoes, but also boots, belts, jackets, and other leather accessories, serving both national and international markets. The Martyrs square is also found here.
The square is surrounded on three sides by beautiful neoclassic archways.
