Guadalajara CityIt is the capitol city of the state of Jalisco and it's also the second most populated city in Mexico, located in the Western-Pacific region. Guadalajara is known as La Perla del Occidente (Spanish for " Pearl of the West").
Guadalajara is also home to the largest enclosed market in Latin America: the Liberty Market. More than 1,000 vendors sell local blown glass, leather goods and other handicrafts the city and its surroundings are famous for.

Guadalajara is also the home to one of the most popular and beloved soccer team in Mexico.


Teatro Degollado

Guadalajara 's best performing arts venue is a nearly 150-year-old theater that's subject to constant renovation.

Cabanas Cultural Institute

Initially an orphanage and a center for the homeless, this colonial building is currently and Arts and Cultural Center. You can Admire José Clemente Orozco's “Man of Fire”. Orozco is one of Mexico's greatest artists; he painted this masterpiece on the dome over the mayor chapel.


Basilica de Zapopan

This beautifully ornate church, built in 1690, is one of the city's oldest structures It has a Gothic jumped ceilings, a Corinthian furnace bridge and a flowered frontage of Plateresque-model.

Honouring the Virgin with the immaculate design today the Virgin of Zapopan is remembered on 12 October the religious festival of Romería of the Virgin of Zapopan is revealed here.
